This is actually the song that's been stuck in my head for most of the week...
And a small aside that has nothing to do with music: If you're going to be out of town on a Friday night, and you leave your alarm clock at home... do not leave it set to go off at 5AM. Even the dogs thought it was too early...
Update: Side effects of an alarm clock going off somewhere in the house at 5AM on a Saturday morning have been erased by Mr. Thundra. Many thanks.
also I'm exhausted this is the best I could do.

I literally am about to hand count the comments on this thread.
1. Copy text of page and paste into word processor of change.
2. Run Global Search to change every occurrence of "Posted by" into "Zardoz".
3. Read the number of replacements.
Alternatively, change every occurrence of "Kathleen" into "Bad Ronald".

A Hot Lazy Nine-Fingered Bad Ronald
Oh. Dear.
The mind reels...
I see Kathleen has been busy!! LOL!
And while she was doing a lazy-ass, nine-fingered Bad Ronald... I was surrounded by hipster unicorns with black glasses on. Did it make them hip?? No, it made them bad... and worse than that, they wanted to be bad.
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 07:30 AM
All blogging formats should come with a Zardoz option so we can easily see comment counts, and can easly get to ALL comments... unlike Blogger which now blocks you at 200, unless you said more. And then there's WP which goes all pear-shaped and doesn't fully count all comments. Yes, there needs to be a Zardoz option. End of story... but not the end of the thread.
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 07:32 AM
Thank you, K!
You made my morning.

Well, it IS Shunday....
Posted by: Zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 11:19 AM
I feel the need to mention that for a couple of comments there, Kathleen was referring to it as a Lazy Ronald.... She corrected herself, but I wanted to mildly shun her for it. Also, Rollie Fingers? What decade is this? And did they just paint over his Brewer uniform?
Posted by: Zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 11:22 AM
Some of us Zardoz for the thrill of it, not the count....
Posted by: Zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 11:23 AM
Well, it IS Shunday....
LOL!
Duh!
Kathleen was referring to it as a Lazy Ronald
But she was referring to her approach.
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 11:24 AM
Yeah, she wasn't feeling like doing much beyond 70... so I can see the Lazy Ronald.
She did manage to pull it out though. As BG said, thank gawd we left the wine slushies!
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 11:26 AM
Oh my gawd. I had to look at an old image of Rollie... boy, if that doesn't take you back.
The lamblets were looking at a photo this morning of my brothers, father, and a b-i-l... taken during the 70's... all with HUGE staches. They were like, "WTF??" :)
Of course, they also freak out when they see the shorts the Celtics wore in the 70's.
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 11:28 AM
I bet shundra is wearing his bell bottoms today... just because. He's shunning the straight leg jeans.
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 11:29 AM
I'm not buying the Kathleen defense.
If we can't maintain accurate Zardoz terminology, where will we be?
Answer me that, Shunnifer!
Posted by: Zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 11:41 AM
Sounds like the Lamblets are kind of easily freaked out....
Posted by: Zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 11:44 AM
If we can't maintain accurate Zardoz terminology, where will we be?
But the comment threads seem to live on improvising and extrapolating... and then beating it into the ground. I stand by K's call on teh Lazy.
I especially stand by her A Hot Lazy Nine-Fingered Bad Ronald!
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 11:45 AM
Sounds like the Lamblets are kind of easily freaked out....
Not anymore than any kid is by things of the generations that have come before.
If you've never seen how SHORT basketball shorts can be... those do look crazy. Of course most of the basketball shorts today look kind of crazy in that they're more of a manpri.
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 11:48 AM
I especially stand by her A Hot Lazy Nine-Fingered Bad Ronald!
Yeah, that was appropriate, agreed.
Imma still throwing a flag on the Lazy Ronald.

If you've never seen how SHORT basketball shorts can be.
Never. Never worn them, either.
Posted by: zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 12:29 PM
and then beating it into the ground.
Based on the play we saw last night, I will beat Lazy Ronald into the ground with a steel pipe.

Jennifer, I told The Skimster about how the lamblets feel about 70s basketball shorts. We both cracked up. They were totally short!!
Hot pants!!
Posted by: blue girl | April 22, 2012 at 12:52 PM

Ouch.
Fine. Lazy Ronald it is. Hmpf.
Posted by: zombie rotten mcdonald | April 22, 2012 at 12:52 PM
Yeah, I read your 4 comments, Shundra... they truly were lazy. Granted, it was the middle of the night, but still...

Posted by: ifthethunderdontgetya™³²®© | April 22, 2012 at 12:58 PM
BG- they were! For some reason, I always think of the Celtics, but maybe those shorts just seemed shorted because the bright green showed up so much. Their floor also seems quintessentially "basketbally" to me. :)
Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 01:00 PM
the Celtics were lazy.

I used to have John Havlicek's autograph. Might still be in a box in my mom's basement. His, along with THE WHOLE CAVS TEAM from the Miracle of Richfield era.
Posted by: blue girl | April 22, 2012 at 01:30 PM
Let me clarify: Not a random piece of poster board with all the Cavs' autographs that I bought at some store.
However many tiny pieces of individual paper, each autograph gotten one at a time, using my 14 year old massive strategy skillz to acquire each one, game after game after game...

Posted by: Jennifer | April 22, 2012 at 01:42 PM
I was just thinking about begging my parents to take me to those games. And we went to so many! Only a select few could even think to do something like that now, just have fun and get autographs. It would now cost thousands of dollars to do such a thing.
Sad random fact.
Wonder how much tickets were back then? $10 - 15? I know Blossom tickets were $5 a concert! $5! I saw practically anybody you could name for $5.
