And not only is it stuck, but sometimes the beginning morphs into Belinda Carlisle's, "Circle in the Sand"... and then it goes to a Sam Phillips' song...

I've seen that a few times but this time it struck me that it is a very Peter Gabriel sort of song.

I've never heard this one before!

Well, considering Gabriel is now doing a lounge act, at least SOMEONE is doing Peter Gabriel music.

My lounge act is sitting on the couch, with a duvet over me, watching Teevee and eating cheetos. Beat that, Peter Gabriel!!!

With Mrs. Cat by your side, singing backup.
Right, A.K.?

BGB is Bad German Brain. It's what my sister and I came up with to describe our dark moments... or angst-ridden ones... or ones where we're obviously not in charge and the brain is heading off in a direction of its own, usually to conquer Central Europe. :)
AK is livin' the life!!!

It's like there's something in the beer.

Aside from deliciousness.

Complaining about things being stuck in your head is just triggering the zombie.

My messed up earworm is:
There's a fire starting in my heart.
Orbiting your living room, cashing in the Bill of Rights.
I don't know where the hell it came from.

Want to hear something funny?
I was listening to CBC radio this morning and a song came on. I didn't catch the artist. I thought to myself... "I love this song! I'm going to look it up on Youtube."
I typed in "Somebody that I used to know" and guess what popped up! :)

p.s. I get a "Sting" vibe from it.
Posted by: Laura | February 03, 2012 at 07:54 AM
I could see the Sting dealio.
Posted by: Jennifer | February 03, 2012 at 08:18 AM
I also got Sting.
Except, you know, it doesn't suck.
Posted by: zombie rotten mcdonald | February 03, 2012 at 09:22 AM
Ouch! I, for one, do not think all Sting sucks. Perhaps if he covered poodles drunk by noon... :)

Sting was the first show at the Marcus Amphitheater, when it was new, on teh Summerfest grounds. Yeah I was there. He had a top notch band, but his voice was weary at best. And the best stuff was the Police songs.
He's gone downhill since then. MOR is not my bag. he's more pretentious than Bono.

Strangely, I LOVE Circle in the Sand, YET
Belinda Carlysle? She does not have it.
