Thank you for posting that. I love that movie so much.

Awesome movie.

Bud Cort never really recovered from it, which is somehow kind of appropriate.

I see it is in my Netflix streaming library. As is Zardoz. Still not sign of Bad Ronald, however.

I am reporting all of you for wrongthink.

That's interesting. Huh.

And lol @ thunder. (True though. We're the bad machines.)

I was trying to remember a Cat Stevens song that is connected to this time of year for me, and this was in the sidebar. I had to listen... and thought most politicians should be duct taped to a chair and forced to listen to it 100,000 times... for a start.

Jennifer, your comment about duct taping them to a chair reminds me of something Blue Kid told me over Christmas break. He was telling me about a book he was reading by Matt Taibbi and that Taibbi said that sometimes the Tea Party ppl do have a point, but that they are so racist and so obnoxious that all you want to do is tie them to a chair and distribute the wealth right in front of them. :)

Sign me up if the Rhino party stumbles.

Wake up, wake up!

It's Dog O'Clock in the morning!
~

And Snow O'Clock.

Fortunately my poochies decided to jump on the bed and hog space and covers for an extra hour. Then the went out to frolic.

We don't have snow here. It was almost 70 yesterday!

Then the rain arrived, so it was a wet and foggy walk to the lake. I took a couple pics, let's see how they turned out. (Also cooler, now it's 42 degrees.)
~

We got about an inch of heavy slush, followed by approx 3 inches of heavy snow... followed by 1-3 more inches today... as it is snowing right now.

Both of our weekend days will be above freezing, with Sunday nearing 50, so I don't think this will last. Besides, the ground is barely frozen.

I have taken no pics, although did attempt a brief video of the dinner plate-sized snowflakes yesterday afternoon.

Coffee, anyone???

Funny, I'm having some now!
~

Try taking those snowpics at night, he recommended.
~

I should have last night, but it ceased by the time it was dark, and didn't crank up until after midnight, by which time, I was a snoozing leetle keeten.

I did take a lovely morning shot though... no flash... no snow orbs.

I'm torn between downloading my shots off the camera now, and taking more pics.

The woodpeckers are hitting the suet...
~

"The woodpeckers are hitting the suet" sounds like a spy code.

"But the chickadee is in the tree."
~

I was going to take some snow shots while taking Grizzled to the train, but figured keeping the car on the road was a better choice.

I did hear a chickadee though, while out. I'm assuming it was in a tree... wink, wink. And the junco was searching for seed.

I tried taking a few more, but the remote is acting up. I think the little battery in the transmitter is wearing low...unfortunately, it seems to be a specialty number.

But there were 72 pics on the camera, including one of a Hairy Woodpecker on the feeder with a another on the branch behind him, waiting his turn. Going up shortly!
~

Hairy Woodpecker??

I'm not touching that...

I hate snow.

It is done.
~

Hairy Woodpecker??

I'm not touching that...

I just wanted to put that one out there again. Well played, Jennifer.

:)

The snow left me feeling extra mischievous this morning...
