This was circulating around about a week ago... Woody Guthrie's "New Years Rulin's" from 1943. He bit off some big pieces to chew on some of them... some are probably the same as everybody else's, and will be the same next year and the year after that. I do love though that dance better came in just ahead of help win war and beat facism. :) Deep down, we all have our priorities...

Quality birdie action at the feeder today.
I think I did see a young Dryocopus pileatus, but the camera had shut itself off so I had to go out and turn it on. Said pileated flew off with some very loud and indignant SQUEAKS.
