Vlad is Vlad.

Johnny Cash-the man in blah.

LOL!

Oh my God, the whole thing is STILL cracking me up. lol @ Blah is Blah AND Johnny Cash-the man in blah.

:) :) :)

BG- When I woke up this morning, "Blah Magic Woman" or whatever that Santana song is, was in my head. :)

related

Wow, BG. Look at how much enjoyment you get out of the blogs. Why did you stay away so long?

More blah in the comments at my joint.

Also, the explanation for Vlad.

Doh, I see ZRM already did Iggy over at his joint.

fish, I beat you to that one by like 6 minutes, plus I had two others.

I did it while I was on the phone with a civil engineer.

ZRM already did Iggy over at his joint.

dude. Come on.

Doh, I see ZRM already did Iggy over at his joint.

It's not like we don't have the same conversation going on in 3 or 4 places anyhow. :)

The lead singer AND his really tight pants are feeling the music pretty good.
Awesome blah pants. ;p

((Hugs))
Laura

I'm clearly missing something here, but I just want to say
I love this song.
And
Did you break a sweat posting it?

It's not like we don't have the same conversation going on in 3 or 4 places anyhow. :)

Totally!

Von, you don't know why blah is blah?

Wow, BG. Look at how much enjoyment you get out of the blogs. Why did you stay away so long?

Oh my Gah, I wasn't away that long at all! Was I? I don't even remember.

Now, if I could start BLOGGING AT MY BLOG, that might be another step in the right direction.

let's not lose control here, BG.

The child is blah, the child is white, the whole world looks upon a sight, a beautiful sight.
~

Did you break a sweat posting it?

:-P

Excuse me, but did you happen to notice post below that were filled with nuance and depth and depthy nuance?? Hmmmm???

Oh my Gah, I wasn't away that long at all! Was I? I don't even remember.

Blog days are like 3 seconds... you've been away for YEARS!

Now, if I could start BLOGGING AT MY BLOG

Or you could be like ZRM and just start a new one... and if that doesn't feel right, start another! And maybe another! And change your name! :)

I closed your tag for you, thudner...

Also, I assume you're quoting BG, because that is the song that she started with last night, over at one of ZRM's many blogs... you were there, unless you were at Hooter's.

Who is ZRM?

I don't think Von does nuance.

In all seriousness for just one minute. Read this and then read the comments (not all 8,000! But the first 15 get you a good sample)

http://news.yahoo.com/gingrich-black-people-paychecks-not-food-aid-234405279.html

What is WITH THE REPUBLICANS?! They come on the scene and it's all racist crap right off the bat. And from the comments, it seems like people are onto them! They're all nuts and it seems like people finally see that they are!!!

thunder, if one child is blah, then the other is wha and it's a beautiful sigh when they see the lah.

As Grizzled was saying this morning... "You'd think that you would know after a certain amount of time if you were not fond of people of color. I'm a little surprised they're not better at hiding it, after all, they're politicians! They lie about everything!"

Yahoo comments are always like that, beegee.
~

Tishpicayune Mortician-Patterning

LOL and ??? I Googled, and see it's linked to Substance. I need look no further.

It is racist to call them racist when they show their racism.

I don't think Von does nuance.

Only if a hammer and an iron fist are involved.

Grizzled:

They are convinced that everyone feels that way, and are kind of leapfrogging each other to say the most amazingly racist things; they have developed the kneejerk response 0f "Political Correctness!" if anyone calls them on it.

That, and Obama's election has driven most of them full goose bozo loony.

Interestingly enough, there IS a Nuance Hammer.

Von is now officially designated Von, The Nuance Hammer. Minister of Optimism, do you concur?

Yahoo comments are always like that, beegee.

I always thought Yahoo comments were terrible and those comments seemed to be a lot better than terrible. Instead of a bunch of racist comments people were talking about how to demand paycheck when there are not jobs? And why is he singling out black people? I thought it was interesting that the comments weren't so horrible.

Jennifer, it's like they're not hiding it at all! Almost like that's a strategy -- not to hide it. Like a Hail Mary pass or something. It's just so blatant, they're all so crazy!

Oh yes. I feel very positive about this development.
~

Oh yes. I feel very positive about this development.

Me too, thunder.

All hail Von, The Nuance Hammer!!! :)

BG- Yeah, I was talking about that this morning... saying maybe it's the opposite tactic of the dog whistle. Sometimes when things are so blatant, you miss them.

Unless it's really blah, then you can't NOT see it... at least for some.

One of the commenters: "He is ignoring the fact that it is necessary to work to collect a pay check."

That's because he is always collecting paychecks without working. Mittens too.

THERE'S my problem. I keep working to make money! I need to work like Romney and Gingrich "work"!

Yahoo comments are always like that, beegee.

Well, duh. They are LABELED "yayhoo"

They are convinced that everyone feels that way, and are kind of leapfrogging each other to say the most amazingly racist things

I'm not saying that racism no longer exists... but have they NOT noticed that the majority of people in this country elected a black president? That leads me to believe that the majority of people have overcome that part of themselves that was conditioned to be 100% racist. Not that racism no longer exists but electing Obama was a tipping point -- away from the old racist attitudes that were held by the majority.

Maybe THAT'S why they seem so desperate and are saying such incredibly STUPID things.

I mean... blah people?! Are you kidding me?

Guess who's in the minority now, suckers!!!!

but have they NOT noticed that the majority of people in this country elected a black president?

Well, since they always manage to find a way to claim Democratic Presidents are somehow illegitimate, this is less of a mental barrier than you would expect.

Socialist Commie Fascist wimp/iron-fisted dictator Muslim Usurper from Kenya, he explained.

Yes, but don't you think those who fall for that are clearly in the minority? There are always going to be nut jobs (I know plenty of them personally!), but don't you think *most* people don't believe that?

Some people are wingnuts and believe whatever makes liberals mad.

Some people don't know what the hell is going on and believe whatever our corporate media tells them.

And that leaves people who vote for Democrats, like myself. And what I believe is that Obama is a right-wing corporatist, finishing the job that Bill Clinton began of turning the Democratic Party into nothing more than G.O.P. Lite.

And that's why they call me the Minister Of Optimism (M.O.O.).
~

This sounds like Grizzled. Grizzled, why are you posting as Thudner??

Also, what has been done, or not done, has been disappointing. I did truly hope for change. :(

I just hoped for work. Disappointed also.

I am going to own this Nuance Hammer thing, and I will bedazzle the shit out of it.

often heard in Zombie workshop:

"hand me the hammer. No, the BIG one."

I am going to own this Nuance Hammer thing, and I will bedazzle the shit out of it.

As only you could!! I know we won't be disappointed!

I am going to own this Nuance Hammer thing, and I will bedazzle the shit out of it.

Von's gonna bring Nuance Hammah time!

And what I believe is that Obama is a right-wing corporatist, finishing the job that Bill Clinton began of turning the Democratic Party into nothing more than G.O.P. Lite.

Amen! I feel exactly the same way.

I'd like to have a little talk with Bubba.

Reagan is to Republicans what Clinton is to Democrats.

Just one big party! Their party. The party of the 1%.

Von will bring the nuance Hammah! down in a semi-post modern way.

Some people don't know what the hell is going on and believe whatever our corporate media tells them.

Those some people get to me.

Break it down!

Bill's done pretty well for himself.

Most of the rest of us, not so much.
~

Some people don't know what the hell is going on and believe whatever our corporate media tells them.

Look at the old Smigel video I posted up above!!!

Blah Girl?

Bill's done pretty well for himself.

well, yeah, that Whitewater thing worked out so well.

I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time reading "Bill" and "Whitewater" in the same sentence and not think you're talking to me. :)

I always thought that one of the reasons the Repubs went after Clinton so hard was contempt that he couldn't make money on a shady real estate deal in a state where he was the governor.

I know, thunder. And what were we all wrapped up in? Some stupid sex scandal. I remember it well!

And it's not that I blame him for cashing in for himself. But he *really* helped to set it up that the rest of us would crash and burn.

Blue Kid thinks Clinton didn't realize how fast it would all move forward. Technology, etc., that helped to bring it all down.

Heck, I could do that, and I don't nearly have the flair for larceny of your run-of-the-mill Republican.

I have been talking and ranting about politics since I was little. (Thinking, of course, that there was *an answer*.) And what would my stepfather always say to me?

They're all crooks. Who goes into a job making $100,000 a year and comes out four years later a millionaire? A crook!

I always thought that one of the reasons the Repubs went after Clinton so hard was contempt that he couldn't make money on a shady real estate deal in a state where he was the governor.

Ha! Probably true. What else could it be? That guy was a "friend of theirs" as they say.

Blah Girl?

Is Blah now the new Blue?

I have a blah headache. Maybe this beer will help.

"Couldn't hoit!" [/Groucho]
