This particular hibiscus was given to me by my old painting class... as a departure gift. I fully expected a swift kick to the hiny. Anyhow, as you can see, it's thriving. We take it in over the winter, put it back out when the nights are warm enough.
Very pretty!
We've had tons of lightning bugs out the last few days around here. Ought to be many more butterflies pretty soon.

Heh.
This lovely fleur is right in the way of my back door... I would have taken the photo of it with the back door in the background, but my storm door is ugly. I settled for a better photo of the fleur, and the lamblet's old watering can.
