It doesn't seem right to blog about the earthquake situation. Anything I wrote would be either (a) all about ME and my reactions to it; or (b)an attempt to impose a political moral on someone else's disaster; or both.

I believe you will find that "talon" applies only to the claws of raptors. Or if you don't find out, no doubt some pedant will tell you.
