« When 20 Years Seemed More Like 40... or 60 | Main | Unraveling »

I wanna be a bride married to amazement too!!

Maybe I'm amazed, and such as.

When death comes
like a zombie with a brain-saw....

Incidentally, we went to the Rep last weekend. Well, its not incidental that we went to the Rep so much, as the particular play we saw. It was a comedic mashup period piece romantic whodunnit. And just when you thought it was obvious that all the actors were actors, they turned out to be zombies. But not real zombies. actors pretending to be zombies. Actually, actors PLAYING actors pretending to be zombies. This all makes sense.

In any case, since I know none of you are in any danger of accidentally wandering into a theater in Milwaukee, I have no reservation about spoiling the play.

It should be noted that this time, I was not on stage and my iPhone did not end up in a fish.

I'm just a tourist, briefly visiting. And I'm still stuck at the airport waiting for my feckin' luggage to arrive.

I thought at first it was a Rush song.

Cool poem.
When it's over, I don't want to wonder
if I have made my life something particular, and real.
I don't want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.

It's going to be more like "Pack my toys up?! Already?! But I've hardly started playing!"

or maybe...

"alright, I've done this. What's next?"

Wait a minute -- you mean I have to stop fucking off all day every day? No fair!

It's going to be more like "Pack my toys up?! Already?! But I've hardly started playing!"

Yeah, that's true, but hopefully you'll have been amazed by the toys.

Dan- yes, gosh darn it! Stop fucking off you fucker-offer!

Heh heh, just for that, in the words of the Firesign Theatre's Porgie, "I'm going to climb up a tree, cut the soles off my shoes, and learn to play the flute!"

I will NEVER stop fucking off

hello? Did someone call me?

I don't want to end up simply having visited this world.

That's what children are for. They're the people who will leave wads of gum all over the world.
