Jennifer, one of my very favorite songs and very favorite movies. It's always been the *essence* of how I want Blue Kid to feel about life. Always has been a sort of compass for me.

if you haven't seen it yet, you should rent Charlie Bartlett. i think it just came out this year. the protagonist could be H&M's son. looks JUST like harold and acts a bit more like maude. plus, that song plays a pretty good role in the movie. i hadn't realized the connection until seeing this because it's been so long since i saw H&M. thanks for reminding me!
