that dog is adorable.
oh-my-god.
i read somewhere that
goldens are descended
from russian circus
dogs-which partly explains
their engaging quirks. have
you ever heard that?

Good morning, dave! I had not heard that. I'll have to check it out. He is indeed quirky. He's a goof, very big, very strong, but very sweet. He's a very flirty boy and yes, he has quirks. He likes to press his forehead against you. He'll put his feet up on the chair and press his forehead on your chest or arm. Our old hound was never very into being touched, he just had to sniff everyone's breath. If you had just gotten up or were just coming into the house, he wanted a breath check. You had to puff some air into his face and then he'd snort and go away. He did this with all of us every morning. I always assumed he was making sure it was still us and that we hadn't been taken over by the Pod People!!!

maybe he was a canine breathalizer
checking your alcohol levels!

that dog is adorable

Can we refrain from using adorable beyond AG discussions? Please.

Nice half-naked Thursday post.

well, not nearly as adorable as you, AG.
i just got ahead of myself. my bad.

What I find amusing about this shot, is that it looks like your dog could be small. Which is *decidedly* not the case. Smooches to the pooch.

dave- our sniffing hound may very well have been testing. For all I know, he was working with the gov.

AG- is half-naked better than 3B's half-assed?

Claire- no, the pooch is NOT small. I keep forgetting you got to experience his rather bovine head. Before I forget... Welcome to your new home! I hope all moving went well.

Dog blogging is always appropriate. Especially if you give them funny captions or describe their odour on the frito scale.

since your dog is naked, and you took a picture of him, I think this qualifies as nude model blogging. Jennifer is obsessed with nude models, people!!! We need an intervention. We should all show up in robes, so as to keep her calm and unthreatened.

Oh.My.God. Kathleen is right! My dog is indeed nyude and... I photographed him! Or at least his paws.

Do you pet him while he's nude, Jennifer?? After you've taken his picture??

I'd say you might be breaking the rules!

BG- I did indeed pet him, but only after I put the camera down so the posing session was over. And... he did not ask me out, however, he did ask me to let him out. I don't think that counts as the same thing.

Maybe he's been asking you out for years and you've never quite understood doggie speak properly. You've only been letting him out. And on his way out, he thinks to himself, Man, she just doesn't dig me, I guess.

Not only do I dig him, but I allow him to dig... that's why I let him out. I'd go out with him if he asked, clothes or no clothes. He's very charming.

Dave, no problem. I just want to make sure that everyone understands here who is indeed adorable and who is indeed NOT.

AG- is half-naked better than 3B's half-assed?

J-Lo, you know that answer! Anything is better than that sad, tragic and lame blog. Gawd, I hate that blog more than Altmouse some days.

snicker.

:)

dave- I've put up another portion of the dog.

My Happy is the same way. When he lays his 110 lbs of massiveness down (not on his side), he crosses his paws, looks at you, and sighs. So Cute.
