Anyone who knows me or has conversed with me via email or blogging knows I like to ask questions. I've always liked to ask questions. I like to ask questions that are serious, I like to ask questions that are silly. There is usually some question floating around in my head.

Today I figured I'd toss out some questions. Feel free to answer any or all in the comments below. Feel free to answer none as well even though that would be really sad. 

Some of you may be familiar with some of these, but once a question becomes a classic, there's no going back.

in ages gone by, i wore a magician's outfit, complete with red cape and black top hat. it may have been for a birthday. it has of course been preserved forever thanks to the magic of photography.

i'm not very original. totally derivative, in any activity

not since the operation...Dr Moreau took care of that pretty well.

14. Aren't they really the same person? I could never choose one over the other. Although I really like JT's nickname, "Sweet Baby James." Love Carol King's hair. Love her voice. Even her talking voice. Love that JT and Carly were married, though. Such a cute couple till the heroin got in the way. Love Carly's hair too. I love everthing about Carly Simon. I think I choose Carly Simon. Oh wait. I'm breaking the rules.

15. Both. I'm a multitasker. But, I'm not a messy brusher. Very neat brusher. I have a friend who's a totally messy brusher. Toothpaste flies everywhere! Looks like she has rabies.

BG- you must have answered my first #14, because the choice was Carol King or Carly Simon, but then I realized if I was playing on the You Got A Friend theme, I'd have to put Sweet Baby James in there instead. Kudos for answering the question I was thinking, but didn't type... and yes, you'd better be back.

1. Dashiki. I've never worn one. But the first year my husband and I were married, he had bought one at AM-Vets and wore it around like a house robe.
2.Never satisfied with any of my clothes, not within memory.
3.People seem to find me either outlandish or else trying way too hard to be nice. They might be surprised to learn both are true, just not at once.
4.Not now. But until I was fifteen I would have sworn I did have a little stub of a tail.

6.These days? Oh, more pile driving. They start at 6 am, and slam the poles into the ground at varying intervals until 5pm. (Must have fallen behind schedule; bonus money if they meet the deadline--which will be...who knows?)

No. I wasn't positive what it was... which makes me very uncultured and possibly shows my age.

2) What was your favorite outfit and why?
It all depends on weather and need. I mean, I have a current favorite pair of sweatpants, but those don't leave the house. I like my very work-appropriate outfit today (gray skirt, black tights and mary janes, black sleeveless shell and light blue cardigan).

3) What would people find most surprising about you?
Apparently that I'm a twin.

No, don't be silly.

Ugghh...

Cool. Though I like the seasons, so I wouldn't want 72 all year.

a particular black t-shirt, a particular blazing orange corduroy shirt, pants, and maine in october. Because nothing is better than getting a little drunk in front of a roaring fire and eating well.

I was very overweight as a child.

No. They took that off with the flippers and excess fat.

Getting fired from my last job, then meeting a guy who got fired by the same people 10 years ago and had since started his own company. Getting laid off from the job before that, on the first day of Summer.

Women, and the finding of a good one.

I look across the room at the mirror, as the presence of my nose makes it rather difficult to see my mouth directly.
