jennifer-
remember that wonderful eno album
"more blank than frank"?
you (i,we)do need some blank time.
but where, when, how? nice paintings, btw.

Good point. I probably could have used some Eno as my background music today instead of the static in my head.

I just finished planting 85 tulip bulbs which now appear to be having downtime. I guess we don't always realize what's brewing underneath the surface of the blankness, do we?? I hope I have some nice mental tulips as well.

Thanks for the kind words about the paintings. If you get the urge, I'd be more than happy to post a wonderful pastel!

that's so nice of you. i know how to send a photo via email, but i think i need to learn how to (compress) the file.
i know you said when i sent you a flower photo it took ten minutes to download it.

Maybe.

The Heretik always drops in and leaves these funny, austere comments.

Can a comment be austere? Did I even spell austere correctly?

Jennifer, it's raining here again today. But, it's cool out. The rain has made the leaves shimmer and the bark of the trees look really dark, black.

I'm trying to look on the bright side. Trying to *find* the bright side, I should say.

BG- Yes, The Heretik does have a way with the austere comments. I was going to respond with a blank space, but felt it would not be austere enough. :) I imagine him going through life in a David Carradine/Kung Fu manner... calmly dropping words of wisdom along the way. I don't even think he needs to eat, but merely lives on insights and air. "I'll have a bowl of insights please with some air on the side...". A *maybe* from the Heretik is worth a couple dozen or so of my paragraphs.

As for weather... it's gray and chilly and we are supposed to get a *wintry mix* of precipitation today. Oh well, 'tis what it 'tis.

"I'll have a bowl of insights please with some air on the side..."

And a deep thought to go.

:)

"Would you prefer your deep thoughts fried or baked??"
