Kiss? What is... kiss??
In honor of the female alien who left this comment... Now if YouTube only had a video of Plato's Stepchildren that showed Spock and Kirk doing the Tweedledee and Tweedledum dance...

That yes, there was a time when the Banana Splits had a show and not only that, but roamed the earth! The 70's weren't only a bizarre time for kids' shows, they were a bizarre time for fashion. Yes, I'm wearing a shorts one-piece. :)
Fleegle was my favorite. Drooper my next favorite. He's standing sideways just to the left of me and my main squeeze.
FYI- I was in their fan club. :)
The radio station I listen to seems to play Bob Marley's, "Buffalo Soldier" quite a bit. Don't know why. I'll sing along with it, but when I get about halfway through the song, to the woy yoy yoy part, (it starts 1:31 into the song) my brain takes the fork in the road and I start singing the intro to The Banana Splits. I never make it back to Marley's lyrics, hard as I try. Buffalo Soldier is such a serious song and pretty soon thoughts of Fleegle are dancing across my mind.
Listen for yourself...
You know you want to be there, you know you can't stay away. You know you want to see who wins the fight to the finish. Project Runway live-blogging ends tonight over at newcritics.
Thank you, Claire for getting a post up. I had planned on doing it earlier, but my old ladies keep arriving at class earlier and leaving later. They thought I was worried about my lamblets getting home before me. Little did they know there was live-blogging prep to tend to!!!
Yes, come hell or high kilowatt rates, live-blogging will come to a tension-filled end this evening.
And you know what that means! It's Project Runway night over at newcritics (10E/9C)! And not only that... it's the Reunion Show! It's the show where everyone comes back and tells everyone else how they really feel. This episode has very little to do with fashion and is all about the hurt, the pain, the crushed egos! Knowing of Pinko's sensitivity for fashion and those who critique it, I'm sure he'll be there... why don't you join him and us. Season 4 is almost over! Don't miss the creativity, don't miss the drama and for the love of GAWD, don't miss one more chance to see Ricky cry!
Although the night held nothing more than Slurpees from heaven, today is filled with lots and lots and lots of wet, blowing snow.
It is, however, Project Runway night over at newcritics and neither rain nor snow nor dark of night will keep this person from her live-blogging rounds.
Yes, Wednesday is upon us already and I'll be at the helm over at newcritics, live-blogging this tantalizing season of Project Runway. You know you want to be there. You know you do. Something has been missing from your life and you're thinking this is probably it. Well, you're right!
Besides, this season has been known to induce narcolepsy in its viewers. I'm coming down with a cold and will need all the snark I can get in order to stay awake.
You know the drill... live-blogging down in the comments (wasn't that a Billy Joe Royal song? "Down in the Comments") over at newcritics. 10/9pm.
Live-blogging of Bravo's Project Runway will proceed as usual over at newcritics tonight at 10Easter/9Central. Claire will be the hostess with the mostess, although we'll all be convening down in the comments for community snark. Be there, if only for Claire! If my painting class decides to turn on me and I disappear, she'll need commentary support. You don't even need a television to join in on the fun. I'm talking to you, fish...
Tonight Project Runway live-blogging will continue! It's a new episode! Tonight's challenge consists of raiding a candy store and using the ill-gotten booty to create couture! This kind of challenge is one of PR's best. It brings out the fun, it brings out the ugly, it brings out the tears. Don't miss it! You haven't lived until you've seen Ricky cry.
Yes, it's Project Runway live blogging over at newcritics! Commenters are welcome, especially since my live-blogging cohort will be in transit. I could use the company. Seriously. You don't even need a television. Ask Snag! He showed up for the first episode, wasn't near a television, and yet had some of the most apropos comments of the evening.
Come on... it'll be fun. The holidays are over after all, what else have you got to do?
Bravo's Project Runway, 10Easter/9Central. Live-blogging over at newcritics with commentary in the comments of course!
