Last night, while listening to Santorum give his holier than thou, fear-based speeches, two quotes popped into my mind:
1) "God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh." - Voltaire
2) "Lighten up, Francis." - Sgt. Hulka

Do not want to be Santorum's big toe.

His line about his only prayer to God is also worth repeating.

2) "Lighten up, Francis." - Sgt. Hulka
The Vancouver Grizzlies once drafted Steve Francis who was very cranky about playing on a shit team and begged and whined and got traded. He came back with Houston, I think, and the scoreboard played the Hulka bit. HA HA! Then I believe Houston still kicked the Grizzlies' asses and boy, Houston was a shit team then.
So now I weep.

There once was a guy named Voltaire
who had some opinions on prayer
when talk turned to god
he thought it quite odd
that reason was left on the stairs.

Santorum, the one they call Rick
Whose ass is impaled with a stick
Would think this Voltaire
Out of Satan's own lair
And any who quote him in thick.
His views on all forms of contraception
Are "Ban it" without one exception
And those who partake
might be burned at the stake
If he has his way post-election.
So yes Mr. Voltaire was right
Rick's campaign is selling his fright
As we on the Left
Of this concept bereft
Have nothing to do but delight!
(Keep it up, Rick, that's why they ran your righteous ass right out of Pa.)
